T he Russian Ruble is the second oldest currency still in existance after the British Pound and is available as a Gold bullion piece in 5, 10 and 15 Ruble denominations. Historic pieces from the 17th Century with effigies of Elizaveta and Ekaterina II are also seen but command very high premiums. More commonly seen are the Russian Rubles featuring Nicolas II who was the last Russian Royal to feature on Russian coinage
