The ‘lucky angel’ Gold 20 Francs is a design that came later in the Gold Franc series. This type saw a prolonged production period ranging from 1871 – 1898 inclusive and is considered an attractive bullion coin rather than a rare numismatic piece. These coins can be secured for a low premium in the market. As with other 20 francs, the 6.45g coin is made of a 90% Gold alloy containing 5.81g of fine Gold
