Gold Syrian pounds weigh 2.27g of .900 fine Gold. The design is similar to that seen in the Turkish Lira with a Tughra. The obverse shows a beautiful illustration of a mosque. The Afghani 1/2 Amani has an unknown mintage and is extremely rare in the UK market
