The Gold Colombian “Stonecutter” cinco peso coin is a variation of the traditional Gold Colombian peso. The Casa de Moneda de Colombia minted the cinco peso in years 1913, 1917, 1918 and 1919. There are a total of 2,664,000 known coins that were produced.
The obverse of the coin shows a man chipping into a rock, either sculpting into the rock or calving minerals from the rockface. This type is known to have a weak center strike which can result in some detail loss in coins that are no longer in a mint state
