A double Sovereign dated 1893 featuring Queen Victoria’s third and final portrait. This double Sovereign is a one-year type and so is not often seen in the market. Unfortunately, many ungraded coins offered for sale have had some degree of polishing
The 1893 double Sovereign weighs 15.98g of 9.167 fine Gold. An impressive issue which is held in high regard with British Gold coin collectors
KEY FEATURES:
- One-year type making this coin a scarce gold issue
- Minted in 22 Carat Gold (91.67% Gold purity).
- Highly desired with a large resale market
