The Honduas Gold Veinte Peso is famous as being the top denomination of the first Gold coins struck in Honduras. Official mintage figures have been lost to history however based on some mintage figures that are known for the first year of Honduras Gold peso strikes, it is believed that only 11 Veinte peso coins were minted
Today we can publicly account for only 3 Veinte pesos survivors although others may exist. The rarity of the Veinte pesos is captured by an auction house that stated it was “offered only when great collections are dispersed”
