The Gold half Sovereign dated 1988 which saw a total mintage of 22,500 with an additional 7,074 as part of annual sets. Only proof sovereigns were released this year, no bullion half sovereigns exist from 1988. The coin weighs 3.99g and contains 3.6575g of fine Gold content. This 1995 half sovereign is in a very good condition and comes with original case and certificate. Coin is supplied in its original fitted capsule
The reverse of the coin features a portrait of the late Queen Elizabeth II known as the Royal Diadem portrait
