The Gold half Sovereign dated 1996 which saw a total mintage of 7,500 with another 2,500 struck as part of sets. Only proof sovereigns were released this year, no bullion half sovereigns exist from 1996. The coin weighs 3.99g and contains 3.6575g of fine Gold content. This 1995 half sovereign is in a very good condition and comes with original case and certificate. Coin is supplied in its original fitted capsule
The reverse of the coin features a portrait of the late Queen Elizabeth II known as the Royal Diadem portrait
