The iconic French ‘Lucky Angel’ 100 Francs coin. A popular design which is typically seen at low premiums, especially in the larger 100 Franc size. The coin is .900 fine which was the standard at the time for Latin Currency Union coins. The 100 Franc Luck Angel is 32.258g and contains 29.03g of fine Gold
The 100 Franc lucky angel was struck at the Paris Mint between 1878-1906 inclusive, making these coins over 100 years old. The coins functioned as currency at the time and so most coins will appear in a lightly circulated condition
