The Gold Tunisian 100 Francs coin is only marignally larger than the Tunisian 20 Francs and weighs 6.55g of .900 fine Gold. These coins were struck at the Paris Mint between 1930 through to 1937 and were used as currency in Tunisia. The type is intriguing insofar that most coins were struck in 1891 with very small mintages following in the remaining years of the 10 Francs production.
The Gold 100 Francs was struck to lower mintages as only just over 9,000 coins are known. As the Gold 100 Tunisian Francs were produced later than the 10 and 20 denominations, these were the last Gold Tunisian coins to ever circulate in Tunisia
