The Gold Tunisian 20 Francs coin is a small Gold issue of 6.45g of .900 fine Gold. These coins were struck at the Paris Mint between 1891 – 1904 and were used as currency in Tunisia. Just over 900,000 coins were minted with nearly all of these dated 1903 and 1904. During the early 20th century, Tunisia was a French protectorate which is why the Gold Tunisian Francs were minted in Paris
